The Shadow Within
by Jeanne Cavelos The best Babylon 5 book.
It tells the story of John Sheridan's first few days commanding the Agamemnon, AnnaSheridan's fatal trip to Z`ha`dum, and the last few days before the opening ceremonies on Babylon 5.
To Dream in the City of Sorrows
by Kathryn M. Drennan An incredibly good book.

In the Beginning
by Peter David The excellent novelization of the TV movie by the same name.
In this novel, the old Emperor Londo Mollari tells two little Centauri children the story of the Earth-Minbari War. The noveldepicts everything about the war - from the first deadly encounterbetween Earth Alliance ships and the Grey Council's cruiser to the end of the war, the Battle of the Line. Buy this book.

Book #2: Accusations
by Lois Tilton A great futuristic murder mystery.

At the same time, Ivanova and Alpha Wing investigate a spree of cargo hijackings, in which all the people in the cargo ships were killed. Buy this book.
Book #4: Clark's Law
by Jim Mortimore A very good novel, with both action and philosophy.
The book is about a Tuchanq, a member of the Tuchanq race who was once under Narn rule, who kills a man, but is involved in an accident and becomes braindamaged. Now the Tuchanq is like an innocent child, but under President Clark's new law, she has to be tried and executed. Of course, the murder was committed on Babylon 5, and so should the trial and execution. Buy this book.
Book #1: Voices
by John Vornholt A good, yet a little predictable, story.

Book #5: The Touch of Your Shadow, the Whisper of Your Name
by Neal Barrett, Jr. A book as mystic as the show itself.
A plague has hit Babylon 5. The plague is something never seen before, since there is no physical evidence of its existence. It is a rush of horrible nightmares that all the residents of B5 are experiencing. They are one of the causes to the many clashes between religious groups that have come to the station after a recent religious event that took place on it.
At the same time, a huge, green band of light is coming toward Babylon5, and according to all the instruments used to check it, it doesn't really exist. It might or might not have any connection to the nightmares, but it is causing great havoc. Babylon 5 is in danger of being ripped apart, if not from the outside, then from within. Buy this book.
Book #3: Blood Oath
by John Vornholt An interesting story of escape from death by death.

This is an oath that means she will never rest until he is dead, and if she diesfirst, her family must finish her vow for her. G'Kar fakes his own death in order to kill the rival family, and as a result Ivanova and Garibaldi cometo Narn as Earth Alliance's representitives at G'Kar's memorial service and to answer the Narn government's questions. Buy this book.
Book #6: Betrayals
by S.M. Stirling A boring and confusing story.
The story takes place during the Narn-Centauri War. A peace conference between the two warring parties is coming up on Babylon 5, and T'llin people have come to the station illegally to ask for help against the Narn since they are under the cruel Narn rule. G'Kar demands the full extradition of all T'llin back toT'll, their home-world. Also, somebody sends Ivanova data crystals with creepy vids. Buy this book.
Book #8: Personal Agendas
by Al Sarrantonio Stupid, stupid book, with very few interesting points.
Since G'Kar is in captivity on Centauri Prime, used for Emperor Cartagia's own selfish fun,the Narns want to release him, and so do Sheridan, Delenn, Garibaldi, Ivanova and Franklin. After failing to find G'Kar, Narn terrorists kidnap Londo, and the only way they would let him go is if the Centauri let G'Kar go. This would destroyLondo and G'Kar's plans to free Narn and rid Centauri Prime of Cartagia, so everything now is in Vir Cotto's hands.
Another sub-plot in the story is the stupid relationship between Vir and his fiance, Lyndisty. Buy this book.
